| URL: www.kard.at Commissioned by: University Clinic of Internal Medicine II/Department of Cardiology Original situation: The Department of Cardiology at the University Clinic for Internal Medicine II at the General Hospital of Vienna wanted to present itself and its services. The site targets patients as well as students and medical staff. A self-made page existed, but needed to be adapted to contemporary demands in terms of content and form. Solution: net-value designed a concept for such a website. This included an appropriate, serious design for the topic, clear navigation and plain language. The website is continuously updated with texts and images in order to improve the representation of the institute, its employees, offers and facilities. The offer includes detailed descriptions of the individual facilities (laboratories, nursing units etc.) as well as comprehensive resumes of the physicians. The illustrated discussion of examination methods is helpful for patients, while students can access information about current seminars and courses. The site also presents information about current research activities. |
