BMSG - Intranet for the Ministry of Social Security, Generations and Consumer
| Commissioned by: BRZ (Federal Statistics Office) Original situation: Within the ministry, there were many different departments that provide internal information through a great variety of networks. This information was in part only provided to one department, but in some cases to other departments as well. In addition, the ministry used some 100 forms that were required for the employees of the ministry. The Intranet was to stop the uncontrolled growth of networks, provide standardized information and make it more easily accessible. In addition, the system was to guarantee that the same documents and information was available at all branch offices. Solution: We held workshops with the employees of the ministry to gather insight in the currently available information and to create the basic structure of the Intranet. In addition, we defined work situations, for which we structured the required steps and associated forms, time sequences etc. Services:
