A comprehensive concept for an Internet site, based on the life circumstance model developed by net-value, has been developed in close cooperation with the responsible persons at the municipal authority. In the main areas of public services, business, tourism and also culture and leisure, users will from now on be able to target and access the information they want. The existing corporate design of St. Pölten has been applied in technically implementing the website. In addition, an important foundation for the expansion of the following electronic official services has now been laid through the integration of a form - a solution recently created by St. Pölten and other Lower Austrian towns, The website is not however intended to serve solely as a public contact point on the Internet: a separate portal has also been developed for industry (www.ecopoint.info), where businesses can even access licensed business areas online.
