Solution: The four central topics and procedures "hemorrhoids, urinary incontinence, artificial knee joints and wound care" had to be presented to four different target groups: patients, doctors, nursing staff and hospital administrators. The initial selection of the topic leads directly to an area that is written for the general public. The guiding principle of the editorial presentation was to use "medical conditions or procedures instead of products". Doctors, surgical and nursing staff enter their respective specialized areas in a second step with a password. In these sections, specialists can find information about financial aspects and ordering data in the cost/benefit section with special regard to the growing cost pressures in healthcare.
